SoCal Student Mattress contacted Blue Polo Interactive in the fall of 2012. The company was looking to grow their business in the search engines and was not ranking for any of the key search phrases that aligned with their company. This presented a huge opportunity for the business. The market was competitive, but we were confident that with our link building methodology the company could compete in the space. They also needed assistance making their Website SEO friendly after integrating with the Shopify eCommerce platform.

The Solution:

Blue Polo Interactive’s first fixed the onsite portion. Recent Google Algorithm updates have made this imperative. We made sure the site was technically optimized by updating the meta descriptions, alt image tags for products and URL structure. Each page was then optimized for proper keyword density after the target keyword terms were selected. As soon as this was complete, our link building team went to work.

The Results:

Blue Polo Interactive increased organic traffic 177% by month 6 of the campaign. The increase in intent based searches from its target demographic has also led to sales growth in the Los Angeles area.
